This custom Acoustic Box installation in Paddington, NSW demonstrates how a pool equipment enclosure can be tailored to suit tight spaces while improving airflow for high-performance equipment.
With such a unique site, The Acoustic Box team worked in partnership with Senator Pools to do a site inspection and recommend the best combination of products. The project required a custom backless enclosure measuring 2728mm wide x 860mm deep x 1345mm high, designed to fit precisely between a wall and a doorway along a poolside pathway. The reduced depth ensured access was maintained while still fully enclosing the equipment.
The box was required to also enclose an electric pool heater so ventilation was a key requirement. The enclosure features the new folded louvered door design, which increases open area for improved airflow. Another key feature for improved air ventilation is our Grilled Panel accessory. With all our products manufactured out of Sydney, this panel can be custom laser cut in a variety of sizes and shape to suit each job. On this occasion, the customer chose a circular design in the lid.
A backless configuration allows the equipment to sit directly against the wall, while a custom side access panel ensures safe and practical servicing in a confined space.
Finished in Dune, the enclosure delivers a clean, compliant solution that balances pool pump noise reduction, airflow and site constraints.
