Strengthening Support Brace for 1350mm Deep Models.
At The Acoustic Box, we’re always looking for ways to improve our products for greater functionality, ease to install and overall design.
One recent update relates to 1350mm deep models only when side access is added, where we’ve introduced a simple but effective design improvement.
On the 1350mm deep models with a 900mm or 1100mm wide front panel, there isn’t enough room to insert a corner bracket as we do on the wider 1650mm models. Without additional reinforcement of the corner bracket, this leaves the front panel corner feeling less stable. To address this, we’ve designed a support brace that fits over the side access opening, giving the front panel the strength it needs and ensuring the box remains solid and secure. The support brace is fully removable simply by lifting the brace off, leaving clear access through the access panel.
The models this applies to are when side access is added to: 11311, 111313, 091311, 091313, 201311, 201313, 221311, 221313, 181311, 181313.
As standard, whenever you select a 1350mm deep side access panel with a 900mm or 1100mm wide front panel, the support brace will be supplied.
As a reminder, all side access models also come with one gas strut and one lid stay (prop bar). This is because the side access opening cannot accommodate dual gas struts. View products.
