At The Acoustic Box, we’re always looking for practical ways to improve performance, functionality and long-term outcomes on site. As part of this ongoing development, we’re pleased to advise that we are transitioning our louvered door from a pressed design to a folded louvre design across our enclosures.
What’s Changed?
The previous pressed louver door has been replaced with a folded louvre profile. While visually similar, the new folded design delivers a functional improvement where ventilation is required.
Why the Change?
The folded louvre design provides greater open area and improved airflow, which is particularly beneficial when:
- Higher ventilation is required for equipment performance
- Managing heat build-up within the enclosure
- Supporting sites with tighter airflow requirements
This change ensures better airflow efficiency without compromising the enclosure’s acoustic intent or external appearance.
What Stays the Same?
- Clean, consistent finish
- Robust construction suitable for outdoor plant installations
- Compatibility with existing enclosure designs
- No change to overall door sizing or enclosure footprint

We are now transitioning to the new folded louvered door style as standard.
