SPLASH! 2026 has just wrapped up and it was a valuable opportunity for The Acoustic Box team to connect with pool builders, retailers, service professionals and industry partners from across Australia and New Zealand.

One of the strongest themes from the expo was the growing interest in our pool equipment enclosures to help create quieter, neater and more practical pool equipment installations.

Strong Interest Across the Range

At SPLASH! 2026, visitors were able to see our three main enclosure options side by side:

  • Free Standing – a complete standalone enclosure for pool equipment.
  • Backless – designed for installations against a suitable wall where a rear panel is not required.
  • Deep Backless – provides additional depth and clearance for more complex equipment layouts and installation requirements.

One of the most interesting takeaways was the number of existing customers who were discovering the Deep Backless pool equipment enclosure for the first time.

While it isn’t a new product, seeing the range in person made the differences between each configuration much clearer.

It was a useful reminder that trade exhibitions such as SPLASH! give pool professionals the opportunity to see products firsthand, ask technical questions and discuss solutions for real-world installations.

Why Are Acoustic Pool Equipment Enclosures Becoming More Important?

Pool equipment is often positioned close to homes, outdoor entertaining areas and neighbouring properties.

As a result, pool builders and homeowners are increasingly considering both equipment noise and the appearance of the installation.

A purpose-built acoustic enclosure can help:

  • Create a cleaner, more professional equipment area
  • Protect equipment from harsh Australian weather

Connecting With the Pool and Spa Industry

SPLASH! also provides an important opportunity to connect with suppliers, manufacturers and industry partners.

Some of the most valuable discussions happen outside formal meetings, where businesses can share ideas, discuss installation challenges and learn from each other’s experience.

We also acknowledge SPASA (Swimming Pool & Spa Association) for continuing to bring the pool and spa industry together through SPLASH! and the Australasian Awards program.
