A Custom Grill That Crosses the Door and Front Panel
A recent request put this flexibility to the test. The grilled panel needed to sit across the join between the enclosure door and the adjoining front panel.
It was a challenging detail to work through. The grill had to align correctly across two separate components while still allowing the door to operate and maintaining the strength and finish of the enclosure.
Our Sydney manufacturing team developed a solution and the finished result looked so good that we decided to turn it into a display model.
The display demonstrates how a custom grille can be positioned around the equipment rather than forcing the equipment installation to suit a standard vent location. It is a good example of what can be achieved when design and manufacturing happen locally.
Featuring Our New Louvred Design
The display also features our new louvred ventilation design. One side uses a single louvre, while the wider panel features double louvres.
The double-louvred configuration is used on wider panels to help maintain structural integrity while providing the ventilation required for the enclosed equipment. This allows us to adapt the design to suit different panel widths without compromising the enclosure’s strength or overall appearance.
Can a Grill Be Positioned Anywhere?
The grill cut-out can be positioned to suit the location of the heat pump and the requirements of the installation. Our team reviews the enclosure configuration, panel sizes, access points and required ventilation before determining the best way to manufacture it.
